Faculty and students of Department of Criminology in University of Karachi visited Head Office of CPLC-CRC

Karachi, October 16, 2018 (PPI-OT): Faculty and students of Department of Criminology in University of Karachi visited the Head Office of CPLC at the Sindh Governor House were impressed with the services rendered by Citizens Police Liaison Committee (CPLC). Faculty and students were welcomed by Chief East Zone Abid Ozair. Responding to the presentation on CPLC given to them by Mr. Abid Ozair, Chief East Zone of CPLC, they lauded the activities of the CPLC and spoke very highly about the services CPLC is providing in improving life of citizens in the sprawling city of Karachi.

The Team also took a round of various departments of CPLC Sindh CRC including IT center and CPLC’s 24/7 Call Center. The team showed keen interest in the working, operations and functions of CPLC Sindh. They were also briefed about the connectivity with different departments and nature of complaints handled. A small ceremony was also arranged to give certificates to the students who have successfully completed their internship with CPLC in different departments. Chief CPLC Sindh Mr. Zubair Habib handed over the certificates to the deserving students.

At the end of visit faculty and students of University of Karachi were impressed with the infrastructure and support system CPLC Sindh have, They showed interest in helping and assisting CPLC Sindh voluntarily, which would surely enhance and boost CPLC strength to help Law Enforcing Agencies in apprehending the wanted criminals more effectively and efficiently.
