Modi Regime Seizes Civilian Property in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, In a continuing clampdown in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the Modi regime has recently confiscated a significant land parcel belonging to a local civilian in Baramulla district.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the seized property, comprising six kanals and ten marlas, is owned by Adrees Ahmad Mir. The move is part of a broader trend of property attachments by authorities targeting individuals associated with the region’s pro-freedom movement. In Baramulla district alone, properties of 11 individuals have been seized this year under similar pretexts. Notably, the local judiciary appears to be complicit, granting the police court orders to facilitate these seizures.
