Fake Amil Arrested

Islamabad: Shehzad Town police has arrested a gang of fraudsters who used to mint money and gold ornaments from the people on the pretext of doubling their amount after exposing themselves as `Amil’, a police spokesman said.

Shehzad Town police received complaints from the people about this group after which SP (Rural) assigned the task to SHO Shehzad Town Yunus Gujar to take action against them after thorough investigation.

A special team investigated into complaints and arrested `fake Amil’ identified as Pir Saqam, her wife Taazeem Akhtar and other Shabir Hussain. Police recovered minted money, ornaments from them and further investigation is underway.
