Karachi, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited has disclosed important information regarding the recent suspension of gas supply and the subsequent resumption of production.
In compliance with Sections 96 and 131 of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.6.l(a) of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Rule Book, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited has provided the following details:
The company previously communicated the suspension of gas supply by Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) in a letter dated June 15, 2023 (No. 31.1/PSX/Plant-SD). However, we are pleased to inform stakeholders that gas supply was resumed on June 17, 2023.
Following the resumption of gas supply, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited initiated the start-up process of the Ammonia plant, resulting in the resumption of production on June 19, 2023. The company expects the Urea plant to resume production in due course.
During the period of gas suspension, the production of DAP (Diammonium Phosphate) continued at a reduced level. However, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited assures stakeholders that DAP production will gradually return to normal levels over the coming days.
