FC North KP launches successful anti-smuggling operation in different areas

Frontier Corps North Khyber Pakhtunkhwa launched successful anti-smuggling operation in different areas and apprehended over hundred individuals involved in smuggling.

According to details, operations were carried out in Chitral, Dir, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai and Swat and food items, household electrical appliances, clothing, tyres, auto parts, foreign-manufactured modern arms, gold and foreign currency were also seized.

Over forty-two metric tons of prohibited items including cigarettes, paan, chalya and foreign drugs were seized and burnt under the supervision of relevant authorities.

The FC is fully active along with other law enforcement agencies to prevent smuggling.
