Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab has issued an alert for possible heavy rain across Punjab from Thursday to Sunday. In a statement, Director General PDMA Irfan Ali Kathia said there is a forecast of tropical rains, thunder, lightning and strong winds. Meanwhile, Relief Commissioner Punjab Nabeel Javaid has instructed the provincial administration to remain alert. He said the PDMA control room is operational 24/7.
