Finance Minister calls for attracting private sector investment

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb emphasized the necessity of attracting additional private sector investment and utilizing the Adaptation Fund to assist the country in coping with the adverse impacts of climate change.

He made these remarks while addressing the G-24 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting in Washington DC today.

He expressed appreciation for the support provided to Pakistan by the IMF and World Bank.

Additionally, he discussed reforms in the areas of taxation, energy, privatization, and digitalization.
