First ever Pakistan Sweet Home inaugurated in Kot Lakhpat Jail

Lahore, October 06, 2015 (PPI-OT): Federal Ombudsman of Pakistan M Salman Farooqi along with Zumurad Khan (Hilal e Imtiaz, Patron in Chief Pakistan Sweet Homes) along with his team visited Kot Lakhpat jail. During this visit, Ex. Law Minister S. M. Zafar, Senior Advisor Law Hafiz Ehsan Ahmed Khokhar, Ex. Chairman Wapda Shakeel Ahmed Durrani, Vice Chancellor Punjab University Kamran Mujahid, DIG Mubashir Ahmed Malik, Superintendent Jail Asad Javed Waraich, Ex MNA Ahmed Jalil were also present. Zamarrud khan and the team were welcomed by the prison children.

Zamurd Khan visited the jail kitchen, met the death row prisoners and distributed gifts among children and women prisoners. During this visit, Zamarrud Khan announced the inauguration of first Pakistan Sweet Home for prisons. Kot Lakhpat Sweet Home for prison children was inaugurated by Federal Ombudsman M Salman Farooqi. At this occasion, home secretary, Dr Shoaib Akhbar, DIG Farooq Nazir and Jail administration thanked the visiting team. Zamrud Khan thanked the Federal Ombudsman and declared that sweet homes will be made for all children in prison.
