IG Punjab Orders Expansion of Educational Facilities in Police Welfare Schools

Lahore, In a significant move to boost the educational infrastructure for police families, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has instructed an increase in student intake and facilities at police welfare schools across the province.

According to Punjab Police, Dr. Anwar directed Regional Police Officers (RPOs) and District Police Officers (DPOs) to personally oversee the enhancement of administrative and educational standards in these institutions. He emphasized the adoption of solar energy, the introduction of A-level and O-level programs, and the modernization of classrooms and labs. The initiative aims to elevate the schools to surpass private educational standards, with additional training for teachers and regular extracurricular activities to enrich student experience.
