Foreign Reserves clocks at USD 18.04 bn

Karachi: : The country’s foreign reserves clocked at USD 18.04 bn in the week ending on August 13, 2011 against USD 17.97 bn in the previous week, depicting an increase of 0.39% Wow and up by USD 70mn. Reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reached USD 14.55 bn against USD 14.46 bn in the previous week (up by 0.622%) while, reserves held by commercial banks stood at USD 3.49 bn as compared to USD 3.51 bn on Wow basis (down by 0.56%).
