Islamabad, November 25, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Foreign Secretary, Mr. Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, represented Pakistan at the 41st Session of SAARC Standing Committee, which preceded the SAARC Summit, to be held on 26-27 November in Kathmandu. Standing Committee, which meets once a year, reviewed the progress of SAARC activities and prepared recommendations for the Council of Ministers, which is taking place today. The Standing Committee also finalized draft Declaration to be submitted to the Leaders.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Foreign Secretary met with the Secretary General of SAARC, Foreign Secretary of Nepal and Foreign Secretary of Maldives.
