FPCCI delegation meets finance minister

Islamabad, May 19, 2023 (PPI-OT): A delegation of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) led by Mr. Irfan Iqbal Sheikh met Finance Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar at FBR Headquarters. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Finance Mr. Tariq Bajwa, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Revenue, Mr Tariq Mehmood Pasha, Chairman FBR Mr. Asim Ahmad and senior officers from Ministry of Finance and FBR were also present in the meeting.

The delegation of FPCCI discussed the overall economic situation of the country and gave proposals for the upcoming Federal Budget. They offered full support to the Government in its efforts to revitalize the economy and enhance exports.

The Finance Minister assured the delegation that Government is fully cognizant of the difficulties faced by the business community and will incorporate the suggestions of the Chamber in the upcoming budget. The Federal Minister reiterated the importance of business community and appreciated their efforts and contributions to the economy of Pakistan.
