Gilani – the supreme leader of Kashmir struggle: Zafar

Srinagar, April 26, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt, who remained under house arrest on Saturday, has reiterated that he would support every move aimed at forging unity among pro-freedom leaders.

Kashmir Media Service quoting Srinagar-based dailies reported that in a statement Zafar said that he rejects any solution to the Kashmir dispute within the ambit of Indian Constitution. He stressed that the Kashmir solution could be brought about either through the relevant UN resolutions or through a tripartite dialogue process.

Zafar said, Syed Ali Gilani is the supreme leader (Quaid) of the ongoing Kashmir struggle and all sincere Kashmiri Hurriyet leaders should unite under his leadership to foil New Delhi’s anti Kashmiri designs. He said all groups should respect the All Parties Hurriyet Conference constitution of 1993.

Condemning the application of the Public Safety Act on, Masarrat Aalam Butt, Zafar Akbar Butt maintained that the action was a clear proof of the fact that New Delhi in collaboration with the state government stifling the voice of Kashmiri people.
