Government Determined To Remove Unemployment, Poverty and Illiteracy: Riaz Pirzada

Islamabad: Federal Minister for professional and technical training Riaz Pirzada presided over the ceremony of awarding certificates to trainees from different government and non government sectors at the Pakistan Manpower Institute here today.

The Minister said, “The Government of Pakistan is fully alive to the socio-economic imperatives and has time and again reiterated its determination to remove unemployment, poverty and illiteracy from the country”.

The Federal Minister said that human resource is the single most critical and important factor in today’s viable entrepreneurship and publish service delivery system. “Human resource development and utilization have assumed increasing significance around the world” the Minister emphasized.

He said that managing the human and physical resource is becoming more complex than ever before, because the nature of work as we know is rapidly changing and increasingly being complicated because of emerging technologies.

The Federal Minister said that the Ministry of professional and technical training is created to cater the national and international needs of professional and technically trained manpower on the occasion.

The Director General of Pakistan Man-power Institute Mr. Mohammad Azam informed the Minister that the institute has so far organized 300 training courses, and more than 11000 officers and executives from public and private sector organizations from all over the country, have participated in the training programs.

He added that, 35 research studies and 85 research papers have been published by the Institute. At the end of ceremony Federal Minister awarded certificates to 45 trainees and exchanged ideas with them.
