Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori has overseen the security preparations for the upcoming Chehlum Imam Hussain procession, focusing on maintaining peace and order. Officials briefed him at Nishtar Park, where the main procession is scheduled to commence.

According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori was informed about the comprehensive security measures in place, including the roles of the army, rangers, police, and other law enforcement agencies. He emphasized the unity and vigilance of various security bodies, and mentioned the establishment of a control room at the Governor House to monitor the situation closely.

Governor Tesori also addressed recent incidents, stating that those responsible will be identified swiftly. He highlighted the collaborative efforts of IG Sindh and Additional IG Karachi with other top security officials to ensure a seamless and secure procession. The governor expressed firm resolve in maintaining the city’s tranquility, stating that any efforts to disrupt peace would be met with strong resistance from all security forces involved.
