Govt has tried its best to reduce Haj expenditure: Talha

Minister for Religious Affairs Senator Talha Mahmood says the government has tried its best to reduce Haj expenditure.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, he said over one lakh seventy-five thousand Pakistanis are performing hajj this year.

The Minister said the government has calculated an average price of 55 thousand rupees for sacrificial animal and the amount has been transferred to accounts of hajj pilgrims.
