Govt Strengthens Electric Vehicle Ecosystem Through Strategic Partnership

Islamabad: A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between StarCharge Energy Pakistan and Bahum Global Limited to strengthen Pakistan’s electric vehicle ecosystem through international collaboration, local manufacturing, and technology transfer. The signing ceremony was held in Islamabad today and was witnessed by the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Industries and Production, Haroon Akhtar Khan.

According to Radio Pakistan, Haroon Akhtar Khan stated that the government is committed to transforming Pakistan’s transportation sector by promoting electric mobility. He highlighted that the forthcoming Battery Energy Storage System Policy will pave the way for an electric vehicle revolution in the country by encouraging local manufacturing, attracting foreign investment, and creating a sustainable industrial ecosystem.

The Special Assistant also mentioned that the government is facilitating the establishment of electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the country to make electric mobility more accessible and convenient for consumers.
