Health was only department which dealt directly with public and facilitate them : Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Health

Peshawar, February 13, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Health, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai has said that unavailability and lack of interest on the part of female doctors and specialists in serving the public in certain departments of government hospitals necessitated the female students of medical institutes to make the service of public in their respective fields as their aim.

This he said while talking to the students after inaugurating the hostel and allied facilities at Khyber Girls Medical College Peshawar on Thursday. Principal of College, Vice Principal, doctors, professors and large number of students were also present on the occasion.

The Health Minister on this occasion also visited the examination hall, examiners lodge, post graduate library, director room, ministerial room, cafeteria and other sections of the college and lauded the initiatives taken by the administration of the said college to facilitate the students.

While talking to the students, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai said that Health was the only department which dealt directly with the public and facilitate them, so the females should come in the field boldly and serve the people. He also said that the collective struggle was a need of hour to bring about a change in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He asked all the sections of society to play their vital role in bringing about a real change in the province. Meanwhile, the minister also planted an Araucaria Heterophylla plant in the premises of the college and said that the present provincial government was committed for green growth Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and historical initiatives were being taken in this respect.
