Heavy Rain in North Waziristan Causes Structural Damage

Peshawar: Recent heavy rainfall in North Waziristan has resulted in damage to residential structures, including boundary walls and rooms, affecting multiple residents across different locations within the district.

According to National Disaster Management Authority, between August 19 and August 21, several properties were reported damaged in the region. In Dandey Darpa Khel, a boundary wall belonging to Saeed ullah, son of Abdullah, was damaged. Additionally, Rasheed Rehman, son of Asal Bat Khan from Chota Datta Khel, reported damage to one room and a boundary wall. In the Village Machas, Tehsil Miranshah, two homes suffered damage with one room each affected, belonging to Shakir Ullah Abdul Hamid and Baitullah, son of Rasool Dad Khan respectively.

The data for these incidents were compiled and released by the National Disaster Management Authority. These occurrences highlight the ongoing challenges faced by residents in North Waziristan due to extreme weather conditions.
