IG Punjab Addresses Concerns of Police Employees and Families

Lahore: IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar met with police employees and their families to address their concerns, issuing orders for immediate relief. The meeting focused on resolving various requests related to scholarships, medical treatment, seniority, and transfers.

According to a statement by Punjab Police, IG Dr. Usman Anwar responded to several applications during the meeting. Orders for relief were issued to the DIG Welfare following the scholarship application by Assistant Mazhar Rafiq from Lahore and the medical treatment requests of Constable Abid Ali and Driver Constable Jaffer Ali Nadeem, both from Okara.

In Lahore, Constable Arif Hussain’s scholarship request also led to orders for relief. The seniority request of Senior Traffic Warden Nasir Mehmood resulted in instructions for relief from the Additional IG Punjab.

Financial assistance for Constable Syed Anwar-ul-Hassan and a transfer request by Head Constable Imran Shehzad were directed to the DIG Welfare and Additional IG Training, respectively. Additionally, AIG Development was tasked with providing relief for Senior Clerk Shah Nawaz Shoukat’s request for a government flat.

The spokesperson stated that IG Dr. Anwar also addressed other applications concerning discipline, administration, promotion, and welfare matters.
