IIOJK: APHC Expresses Serious Concern Over Plight of Incarcerated Hurriyat Leaders Across India

Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed serious concern over the plight of illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in various jails across India and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Radio Pakistan, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, condemned the inhumane treatment being meted out to Kashmiri political prisoners by jail authorities.

The spokesman said that while the world observes the International Day of Non-Violence today, such observances hold little meaning for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, where the Indian government under Narendra Modi continues to commit war crimes and human rights violations with impunity.
