Inaugural flight to Makkah carrying 340 Pakistani pilgrims lands in Jeddah

The inaugural flight to Makkah carrying 340 Pakistani pilgrims has landed in Jeddah.

Radio Pakistan’s correspondent in Makkah Javed Iqbal reports that the pilgrims were given a rousing welcome by Pakistan Hajj Mission upon their arrival at Jeddah Airport.

They were greeted with a cascade of rose petals and refreshing juices. They were also presented with delightful gifts including sweets.

Director General Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro, Director Hajj Faheem Khan Afridi, Director R&R Mushahid Hussain Khalid and other officials of Pakistan Hajj Mission extended a heartfelt welcome to the pilgrims.

A total of three flights carrying 1050 hajj pilgrims will arrive in Jeddah from Islamabad and Multan today.

The last flight of this Hajj operation will land at Jeddah Airport on 21st of this month.
