Inauguration of Tent Pegging event at F9 Park

Islamabad, April 03, 2014 (PPI-OT): Third Annual Tent pegging Event, organised by the sports and culture directorate of Capital Development authority (CDA) will be held at F-9 Park on 4th and 5th April, 2014. Chairman CDA, Maroof Afzal will inaugurate the event at 10:30 AM on April 4, 2014 at Mehran Gate (G-9 Gate), Fatima Jinnah Park (F-9 Park).

Renowned Teams from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Punjab and Azad Kashmir will participate in the Tent Pegging competitions. Event Includes single ride, double ride and 4 men ride tent pegging competitions. More than six hundred (600) renowned horse riders are participating in the event.

First time horse riders from Afghanistan, China and Turkey are also participating in the event. Winning teams and riders will be awarded with prizes in the concluding ceremony on April 5, 2014.
