Indian Army Havildar Dies in Kupwara Patrol Accident

Srinagar: An Indian Army Havildar, part of the 17th Garhwal Rifles, was fatally injured in a patrol-related accident in the Kupwara district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Havildar Deependra Kandari suffered critical injuries after slipping during a patrol in the Taghdar area of Kupwara district. The accident led to his untimely death, as confirmed by official military reports.

In a related incident, an Indian army vehicle was involved in an accident in Nyoma village in the southern Ladakh region. Details regarding the extent of the damage or any casualties were still unclear at the time of the last updates.
