Srinagar: An Indian Army Havildar, part of the 17th Garhwal Rifles, was fatally injured in a patrol-related accident in the Kupwara district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Havildar Deependra Kandari suffered critical injuries after slipping during a patrol in the Taghdar area of Kupwara district. The accident led to his untimely death, as confirmed by official military reports.
