According to Kashmir Media Service, the operation began early in the day, following what officials termed “specific inputs” about potential security threats in the area. The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Udhampur Range stated that the action was necessary to maintain regional security and investigate the reported activities.

The search operation was still underway at the time of the latest updates, with additional details on the proceedings and outcomes yet to be disclosed. The operation adds to the ongoing tension in the region, reflecting the continued security challenges faced in IIOJK.
