Inspector General of Police, Punjab, Javed Iqbal in exercise of powers conferred to him

Lahore: Under Article 112, read with Article 27 and 185 of Police Order , 2002, has made amendments in Rules for Award of Compensation to Police Officers / Officials killed / incapacitated in encounters / disturbances etc.

In accordance with revised Rule 7, of Home Department’s notification No.2-13/HP-II/88 dated 25th April,1989, a Committee headed by Additional Inspector General of Police (Finance and Welfare) and comprising DIG Police (Establishment); DIG Police (Headquarters); and AIG Police (Welfare) as its Secretary will examine all recommendations from Districts in such cases.
