Interior Minister calls for showcasing GB’s natural beauty

Caretaker Interior Minister Dr. Gohar Ejaz has emphasized the need to showcase the natural beauty of Gilgit Baltistan to maximize its potential benefits.

During a meeting with Gilgit Baltistan Chief Minister Gulbar Khan in Islamabad today, Dr. Gohar Ejaz highlighted the golden opportunity for the region’s development with the year-round accessibility of the Khunjerab Pass for exports.

He announced plans to establish trade centers in Gilgit Baltistan to facilitate the marketing of local products.

Dr. Gohar Ejaz emphasized that increasing exports of fruits and minerals, especially precious stones, from Gilgit Baltistan would not only generate employment opportunities but also contribute to the overall development of the area.
