IOK authorities prolonging Inqilabi’s illegal detention

Srinagar, May 26, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the family of illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi, Abdul Samad Inqilabi has said that the authorities are prolonging his detention by not producing him before the courts on prescribed dates.

The spokesman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi in a statement issued in Srinagar said Abdul Samad Inqilabi was once again not presented before the court in a fake case due to which his family is worried. He said the next date of hearing has been fixed June 13. He said it proved that the authorities did not want to release him which was violation of human rights. He added that the party chairman was being victimized under a planned conspiracy.

The spokesman also appealed to the international human rights organizations to take notice of the human rights violations in the occupied territory by Indian forces and help release all illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in different jails of India and the territory.
