Islamabad Police urges political parties to respect law, avoid vigilantism

The Islamabad Police have urged responsible individuals from political parties to refrain from taking the law into their own hands and avoid encouraging actions that violate the law.

In a statement, the spokesperson for the Islamabad Capital Territory Police stated that indiscriminate action would be taken against those who break the law.

He emphasized that organizing any kind of gathering in the high-security zone is prohibited.

The spokesperson further mentioned that the Islamabad Police ensured peaceful elections in the federal capital, and maintaining law and order after the elections remains a priority.

He added that any complaints regarding the elections should be peacefully raised through relevant channels.

Additionally, he requested the general public to report any unlawful activities via helpline 15 or the ICT-15 App.
