JKSM shocked over death of Zafar Butt’s uncle

Srinagar, March 13, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Wali Muhammad Lone of Chanapora.

The JKSM in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the deceased was father of prominent liberation leader, Shaheed Abdul Lateef Lone (Chacha) and maternal uncle of Hurriyet leader and JKSM Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt and Tufail Altaf Butt.

Hundreds of people participated in his funeral prayers including Hurriyet leaders Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Zafar Akbar Butt, Bilal Ahmed Siddiqi and VoV activist, Rauf Ahmed Khan.

A high-level delegation of JKSM visited residence of the deceased and paid tributes to late Lone. “His son Abdul Lateef Lone and other 11 persons of the family have got martyrdom since 1990,” said the spokesman.
