Karachi Water Sewerage Board uses Alum (Phitkari) to clear water and the Board is increasing it to clear the supply: Misbahuddin Farid

Karachi, August 05 2013 (PPI-OT): Managing Director Karachi Water and Sewerage Board Misbahuddin Farid has stated that due to heavy rainfall sand particles are getting mixed in the supply.

KWSB uses Alum (Phitkari) to clear the water and KWSB is increasing it to clear the supply. Alum (Phitkari) is not injurious to health. He also requested citizens to use alum (Phitkari) to clear the water since its use is not injurious to health.
