BSF Constable Commits Suicide in Madhya Pradesh

A constable from the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle at a shooting range in Madhya Pradesh, local authorities reported. The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of Banganga police station in the state. According to Kashmir Media Service, the constable, identified as 29-year-old Dheeraj Malakar, was a resident of Khandwa and had been stationed at the Reoti Range for the last year. Banganga police station in-charge Lokesh Singh Bhadoriya stated that after having dinner, Malakar excused himself to charge his mobile phone but instead went to the armory where he shot himself in the head. His colleagues, alerted by the gunshot, found him deceased.
