Kashmir dispute brought Pak, India to brink of war

Luton, March 19, 2019 (PPI-OT): Speakers at a conference in Luton, UK, while condemning the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir have said that the prevailing tension between Pakistan and India over the unresolved Kashmir dispute has brought the two nuclear-armed countries to the brink of war.

These views were expressed by speakers at a Kashmir conference organized by Alex Mayer, a British Member of the European Parliament for the Labour Party. Besides Alex Mayor, MEP Wajid Khan, British mayors, councillors and a large number Kashmir community members attended the function.

Jammu and Kashmir Right to Self-Determination Movement International Chairman, Raja Nijabat Hussain, addressing on the occasion said, India, which claims to be the so-called largest democracy of the world, is at the top of the list among the countries with bad record of human rights violations. He thanked the MEPs for raising voice for the oppressed people of occupied Kashmir.

Luton Concillor Mayor, Naseem Ayub; Labour Party Luton Chairman, Raja Waheed Akbar; Councillors Yasmin Dar, Riaz Butt, Tahir Malik and Kashmiri community members Nazir Qureshi, Shabbir Malik, Raja Akbar Dad, Malik Lateef, Sumaira Shahid Malik and others addressed the conference.
