Kashmir Freedom Walk reaches LoC to express solidarity with Kashmiris

Kashmir Freedom Walk led by international walker Alhaj Kharal reached Chakooti near Control Line to express solidarity with people of Occupied Kashmir.

The walk was warmly welcomed by local people on different spots, while Secretary Kashmir Liberation Cell, Mansoor Qadir Dar and Director General Kashmir Cultural Academy along with his team received the walk at Chakooti.

Speaking on the occasion, Mansoor Qadir Dar said over 8 million Kashmiris are under unending curfew and lock down for the past 119 days.

He said the people are facing acute shortage of food items, medicine and other daily use essentials.

Over 14 thousand Kashmiri youth are behind bars while Hurriayat leadership is either in jails or restricted to their homes.

He said freedom walk will prove very effective to expose Indian conspiracies against Kashmiris besides inviting attention of the international community towards gross human rights violations by Indian troops in Occupied Kashmir.
