Kashmiri Scholar Urges Denmark to Address Kashmir Dispute in UN Security Council

New York, Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai, Chairman of the World Forum for Peace & Justice and a noted Kashmiri intellectual, has extended his congratulations to Denmark following its election to the United Nations Security Council, calling on it to prioritize the Kashmir dispute.

According to Kashmir Media Service, this appeal coincides with Denmark’s election alongside Greece, Panama, Somalia, and Pakistan as non-permanent members of the Security Council for the 2025-2026 term. In his statement, Dr. Fai commended Denmark for its dedication to international peace and urged the nation to support a peaceful resolution to the longstanding issues in Jammu and Kashmir, in accordance with UN resolutions.

The call highlights ongoing international efforts to find a resolution to the Kashmir conflict under the auspices of global diplomacy.
