Kharan’s Divisional Commissioner Inspects Civil Hospital, Pledges to Address Medical Shortages

Kharan: During a recent visit to the Civil Hospital Kharan, Commissioner Rukhshan Division Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Qambarani, alongside Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmed Soomro, vowed to tackle the pressing challenges facing the facility, including staffing shortages and lack of medical supplies. The visit was part of broader governmental efforts to enhance healthcare services in the region.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Commissioner Qambarani toured various departments of the hospital, such as the laboratory, X-ray, medicine store, dialysis unit, and dental unit. MS Dr. Mehboob Baloch provided a detailed briefing on the current operational difficulties, highlighting the urgent need for additional staff and medical supplies.

During his visit, the commissioner took immediate action by contacting health department officials to discuss potential solutions for the shortages of staff, medicines, and other resources, including blood bags for thalassemia patients. Qambarani emphasized the hospital’s critical role as a divisional headquarters facility and committed to ensuring that all necessary medical facilities and medicines are readily available to patients.
