Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tuesday welcomes new Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa

Lahore, November 29, 2016 (PPI-OT): The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tuesday welcomed the new Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

In a statement issued here, the LCCI President Abdul Basit, Senior Vice President Amjad Ali Jawa and Vice President Muhammad Nasir Hameed Khan hoped that new Chief would follow in the footsteps of the outgoing Chief Raheel Sharif and would utilize his best abilities to tackle the challenges ahead of him. They said that establishment of peace would be one of the biggest challenge to be faced by the new army chief. They said that peace is a must to promote trade, economic and investment activities in the country.

The LCCI office-bearers also paid tribute to General ® Raheel Sharif for his professionalism saying that he has not only boosted the morale of the army but also established the writ of law in the country.
