Lahore Police Lead in Performance Among Major Cities, Surpassing KPI Targets

Lahore: The Lahore Police have topped the performance charts among major cities, achieving a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) score of 68.84. This score reflects their leading status in terms of operational efficiency and effectiveness in law enforcement.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab announcement issued on 21 August 2024, CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana highlighted the timely registration of FIRs and merit-based investigations as key factors in their success. He noted that following directives from the Chief Minister, special attention is given to complaints involving children, women, and vulnerable groups.

Kamyana also detailed a comprehensive strategy for combating crime, including extensive operations targeting lawbreakers and drug mafias through intelligence-based efforts. He emphasized the Lahore Police’s role in ensuring justice and maintaining peace in the city with their professional investigative processes. Furthermore, Kamyana mentioned initiatives aimed at supporting the families of police martyrs and enhancing public engagement through open courts and a complaint management system. The rapid completion of police stations and other development projects under the Special Initiative Program was also noted as a critical element in bolstering public safety and service.
