Landslides, Floods Result in 377 Fatalities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Peshawar: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the death toll from torrential rains, landslides, and floods has reached 377.

According to Radio Pakistan, a recent report from the Provincial Disaster Management Authority indicates that a total of 182 people have been injured in various incidents triggered by rains and flash floods in the province.

The affected areas include Swat, Buner, Bajaur, Mansehra, Shangla, Lower Dir, Battagram, and Swabi. Buner district emerged as the worst-hit area, with a total of 228 fatalities reported.

A total of 1,377 houses have sustained damage due to the adverse weather conditions. Of these, 355 houses have been completely destroyed, while 1,022 have been partially damaged.
