Loralai Sets 20-Year Urban Development Plan Under New Vision Nest Collaboration

Loralai: Commissioner Loralai Division Saadat Hasan chaired a pivotal meeting focused on the master planning of the area through 2040, aiming to enhance infrastructure, health, education, and water services. This collaborative effort involved key stakeholders from the Department of Urban Planning and Development and New Vision Nest Islamabad.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the comprehensive plan, presented by Dr. Abdul Hameed from New Vision Nest Islamabad, outlines development projects tailored to the anticipated population growth and essential service needs over the next two decades. Abdul Rahman, Executive of Urban Planning, highlighted ongoing construction projects, including football grounds and a mine complex in Loralai, emphasizing the region’s commitment to not only infrastructure but also recreational facilities.

Commissioner Hasan emphasized the importance of meticulous planning to ensure efficient use of resources and to prevent the duplication of projects. He also advocated for collaboration across governmental departments to facilitate data collection, vital for the effective implementation of the master plan. Full support from various state land and government bodies was assured to support these urban development initiatives.
