Loss of Shares of Southern Electric Power Company Limited

Karachi, Pakistan Stock Exchange informed that 166 share certificates have been reported lost/misplaced by the shareholders of Southern Electric Power Company Limited, as notified by the Registrar companies. If the registrars do not receive any objection within 21 days of this notice, duplicates share certificates will be issued.

Southern Electric Power Company Limited is a company incorporated in Pakistan on December 20, 1994 as a public limited company. The foundations of the company are laid under the Companies Ordinance, 1984. The Company originally established a 117 Megawatt power generation capacity station near Raiwind, Lahore for supply of electricity. The installed capacity of the Plant was increased to 135.9 Megawatt through the installation of sixth engine in September 2007. The stocks of the company are quoted on the Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore Stock Exchanges of Pakistan. The registered office of the company is located at Islamabad.

The symbol “SEPCO” is being used by the stock exchange for the shares of Southern Electric Power Company Limited.
