Malaysian Envoy Highlights Opportunities for Pakistan in Tourism and Halal Industries

Islamabad: The High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, has expressed optimism about Pakistan’s potential to emulate Malaysia’s success in the tourism sector. In a conversation with APP, he detailed how Pakistan could benefit from Malaysia’s robust tourism strategies and its burgeoning global halal industry.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Malaysian envoy emphasized the need for Pakistan to engage in comprehensive planning to attract investments to these key sectors. Mazlan noted the extensive cooperation opportunities existing between Malaysia and Pakistan, particularly in enhancing their halal industry, which could serve as a mutual growth area for both nations.

Moreover, he expressed a strong desire to increase bilateral trade, suggesting that the shared cultural and economic values between the two countries provide a fertile ground for deeper economic interactions and enhanced trade relations.
