Mari Gas Company Limited’s material information under rule 35 of the listing regulations supply of gas to SNGPL achievement of 600 MMSCF/D hallmark and commencement of production from Halini X-1 (Oil Well)

Karachi: We have to inform that Mari Gas Company Limited (MARI) with the blessings of Almighty Allah has Started Supplying 44 MMSCF per day Gas to SNGPL (for WAPDA) w.e.f. March 19, 2012 from Mari Field (Mari Deep Reservoir) in order to meet the energy demands in the Country. By supplying additional 44 MMSCF/D gas, has achieved the hallmark of supplying more than 600 MMSCF/D of Gas from Mari Field.

Also MGCL has commenced production from its Oil Well, Halini X-1 in Karak Block. The Current rate of production is 650-660 bbls/day. MGCL has 60 % share in the joint venture.

It is expected that the enhanced production by the Company shall continue in making significant contributions for meeting the country’s energy needs.
