Masarrat Aalam Butt sent to police custody

Srinagar, November 21, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, a lower court remanded Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) Vice President Masarrat Aalam Butt into police custody for a one day.

Masarrat Aalam Butt was produced before the court of 3rd Munsif in a fake case registered against him at Nigeen police station in Srinagar.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for JKML in a statement while condemning the continued detention of Masarrat Aalam Butt said that the authorities were detaining him on fictitious grounds to crush his political will.
