Quetta: Key health officials, including Special Secretary Health Mujibur Rahman Qumbrani, Deputy Commissioner Mastung Syed Samiullah Shah, and DHO Mastung Dr. Anwar Gola, recently conducted an in-depth visit to Shaheed Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital in Mastung. The visit underscored the ongoing needs for modernizing the facility, which serves as a critical healthcare hub in the region.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, during the visit, the officials launched a polio campaign and reviewed the hospital’s operations. The hospital is noted for its round-the-clock medical services and acts as a primary care center for both routine and emergency cases, especially for traffic accident victims along the national highway. CEO Dr. Saeed Ahmed Mirwani briefed the visitors on the hospital’s current capabilities and challenges, highlighting the need for further development and the acquisition of modern medical equipment.
The Special Secretary of Health emphasized the importance of addressing these challenges, promising to advocate for the necessary upgrades with higher authorities to ensure the hospital can continue to provide enhanced services to the public. The visiting officials commended the hospital’s staff and administration for their dedication and the quality of care provided.
