Islamabad: The Foreign Minister of Pakistan today held bilateral meetings with the Foreign Ministers of Bahrain, Honduras, Andorra, Marshall Islands and President of Palau on the sidelines of the 66th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, says a press release received here today from Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, New York.
In her bilateral meeting with the Foreign Minister of Bahrain, Shaikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, the Foreign Minister underlined the need for enhancing the political, economic and trade relations between the two countries. The Foreign Minister of Bahrain assured his country’s full support to Pakistan.
During the meetings, the Foreign Minister discussed ways to enhance bilateral ties and increase cooperation in all international fora including at the United Nations.
The Foreign Minister also offered Pakistan’s assistance in building the technical capacity and expertise of these countries in various sectors.
