Member of Indian army-backed VDC commit suicide in IOK

Srinagar, December 24, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, a member of Indian Army-backed terrorist militia, Village Defence Committee, committed suicide in Udhampur district of Jammu region.

The VDC member, Puran Singh, ended his life by shooting himself with his service rifle at Jangal Gali in Tikri area of the district.

This incident of suicide raised the number of such deaths amongst Indian troops, police personnel and VDC members in occupied Kashmir to 375 since January 2007.
