Minister for Information condole death of renowned journalist Hamid Akthar

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the sad demise of a renowned columnist and intellectual, Mr. Hamid Akthar, who died on Monday morning.

In her condolence message with the bereaved family, the Minister paid rich tribute to the valuable services rendered by late Hamid Akhtar in the field of journalism and prayed to Almighty Allah to shower His blessing on the departed soul and grant courage and fortitude to the members of the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with patience and equanimity.
