Muslim Man Lynched in Moradabad Over Cow Slaughter Allegations

Moradabad: A 29-year-old Muslim man, Shahe Din, was lynched by cow vigilantes in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, following accusations of cow slaughter. Despite attempts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries after being taken to a hospital.

According to Kashmir Media Service, a video of the incident shows a mob violently attacking the victim with batons and rods while bystanders encouraged the violence. The police have filed FIRs against unidentified individuals and against Shahe Din for the alleged crime of cow slaughter.

The police’s decision has faced criticism from activists and political leaders, who accuse law enforcement of bias and failing to take appropriate action against the perpetrators.
