Naqash pays homage to Kashmiri martyrs in Sumbal

Srinagar, June 29, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader and the Chairman of Islamic Political Party Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash along with party delegation visited Markundal Sumbal to pay homage to, Irfan Ahmad and Tariq Ahmad who were martyred by Indian troops. Mohammad Yousuf Naqash addressing on the occasion said that that Indian government through its over 700,000 forces was involved in the massacre and genocide of Kashmiris to suppress their sentiment of freedom but would never succeed in its nefarious intentions.

He said that the people of Kashmir were determined to continue their struggle in perpetuity till freedom from the forced and illegal occupation of India and were ready for any sacrifice. Naqash further said that the forced and illegal occupation of Kashmir was the basic reason of conflict, violence and death and destruction in Kashmir. Indian government is solely responsible for death, destruction and violence in Kashmir, he added.

Mohammad Yousuf Naqash said that violence in Kashmir could not stop the people of Kashmir from their struggle for securing right to self-determination and the ongoing liberation movement would be taken to its logical conclusion at all costs. The delegation comprised Tariq Ahmad Shiekh, Mohammad Ayub Dar, Bilal Ahmad Rather and activist Sajad Ahmad Lone.
